Carla Hayden Nominated by President Obama as Librarian for the Library of Congress

Carla Hayden was nominated by President Obama to be the nation's top librarian as the head of the Library of Congress.

Hayden would be the first woman and first black to hold the position.

Library Cutbacks and Expensive Journals Tempt Academics to Try Alternative Access Routes That Bypass Copyrights
